Hi, I’m Marissa!

Armed with my Interior Design degree from Northern Arizona University and Certification in Interior Architecture from UCLA,

I began my career at Interior Designer Peter Dunham’s acclaimed showroom in the Los Angeles Design District, "Hollywood at Home." There, surrounded by his handcrafted furniture, textiles, and vintage finds, my passion for colorful fabrics and furniture blossomed.

Seeking new horizons, I moved to Colorado, where I had the privilege of working as a Design Consultant with “Decorative Materials” in Basalt, Aspen, and Denver. Specializing in hard surfaces such as tile, stone, and bath products, I collaborated closely with design professionals and homeowners, helping to create well appointed and beautiful spaces.

A life-changing decision brought me from Colorado to the quaint countryside of East Texas. Here, I expanded my expertise by working for a bathroom remodeling company and custom home builder, while managing projects alongside talented interior designers. This experience deepened my love and knowledge for home remodeling, custom-built homes, and I learned a lot more about the importance of functional design for homes.

In 2021, fueled by years of hands-on collaboration with esteemed professionals in the design industry across the country, I proudly launched Marissa Alff Interiors in Tyler, Texas.

The transformative power of interior design resonates deeply with me. It's not just about creating visually appealing spaces; it's about shaping environments that enhance mood, productivity, relaxation, and overall well-being.

By crafting personalized interiors that marry style with functionality, I strive to evoke positive emotions, reduce stress, and foster a sense of harmony and belonging in every home. This passion drives me to make homes truly supportive and enriching places for their inhabitants.
